Five carrot varieties. One row. Six months of harvest.
These are not the pale orange things from the supermarket. These are Italian heritage carrots bred for flavour, grown in Irish soil.
What you get
- Nantese di Chioggia — the classic sweet cylindrical carrot from the Veneto. Reliable, crunchy, stores well through winter.
- Flakkee Gigante — large late variety for autumn and winter harvest. Deep roots, strong flavour.
- Berlicum — mid-late crunchy cylindrical carrot. Excellent raw or roasted.
- Cosmic Purple — deep purple skin, sweet orange core. Children eat them before they reach the kitchen.
- Carrot Mix — red, yellow, white, and orange in one row. The most colourful thing in your garden.
