Langedijk is a productive late Dutch cabbage with solid round heads, tightly wrapped smooth light-green leaves, and excellent keeping quality. One of the best varieties for winter storage. Harvest in autumn and it keeps in a cool shed for months.
The flavour is sweet and mild. Excellent for coleslaw, sauerkraut, soups and slow-cooked dishes. A reliable workhorse variety that earns its place in any kitchen garden.
